Established in 2011 by parents who recognized the importance of helping their sons take the next step toward independence, the center supports young men aged 18 to 30 who struggle with “failure to launch.” The approach focuses on social anxiety, avoidant personality disorder, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral patterns of dependence such as gaming and pornography. Each participant works with a tailored roadmap created by seasoned coaches and licensed therapists. Support includes individual sessions, group therapy, exposure-based techniques, and training in practical life skills. In addition, the program offers a Parent Education Platform to help families understand the process and adjust to their son’s progress. With therapy and coaching working together, the goal is to strengthen accountability, encourage emotional development, and support meaningful, lasting change. At Forte Strong, students reside in comfortable shared houses that resemble everyday adult life. Homes include both private and shared bedrooms, inviting living areas with comfortable seating, shared bathrooms, and washing machines at home, all designed to reinforce structure and self-management. Routine extends beyond formal therapy—simple activities like table tennis build connection and help maintain balance. While students work part-time jobs and handle everyday responsibilities, they gradually form habits they can carry forward for life.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Utah. If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
Forte Strong did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Utah Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
