Situated in a serene residential area within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment venues, and various conveniences, Access Foundation Elmwood offers an appealing sober living environment for both men and women. The facility is designed as a duplex, with separate wings for each gender. Access Foundation Elmwood implements research-based group therapy sessions, conducts random drug screenings, and provides residents with opportunities to develop leadership skills, engage in teamwork within the house, and receive training in personal finance. Key leadership positions include House Manager, Assistant Manager, House Accountant, and Chore Advisor. Initially, residents participate in five recovery meetings each week for the first month, followed by three weekly meetings thereafter. Participation in external treatment programs is not mandated by Access Foundation.

The organization is accredited by the Joint Commission and the state of Utah. Access Foundation Elmwood features a two-story building that encompasses six bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens, three refrigerators, a pantry, and three laundry units, covering a total area of 3,630 square feet.

Residents are required to attend their weekly recovery meetings and a house meeting every Monday at 9 p.m. They must secure employment within 30 days of arrival, receiving assistance with job hunting.

Access Foundation Elmwood maintains a strict no-drugs policy. Residents found to have tested positive for substances must vacate the premises, though their beds will be reserved for 72 hours in case they test negative during that timeframe. Smoking is permitted outside but is not allowed indoors.

The curfew is set at 10 p.m. for the first 30 days, transitioning to midnight afterward. Rent is priced at $500 per month, due on the first day of each month, with a security deposit of $300. Random drug tests and those for suspected use carry a fee of $5 per test. There are additional charges of $25 for rent paid between the 6th and 15th and $50 for payments made after the 15th. Payments can be made via Venmo, CashApp, or credit card, the latter incurring a 3.25% processing fee.

Access Foundation also offers BizLab services for aspiring entrepreneurs in recovery, charging $90 for a basic consultation, $350 for a BizLab kit, or $990 for all four kits. Additional housing options for men are available at nearby facilities such as Saving Grace, Serenity Station, Shadow Springs, The Mission, and The Parkway, while women can find accommodation at Serenity Station and Sundown. All locations share similar policies, with only the weekly meeting schedules differing.
