Eagle Ranch Academy is a therapeutic residential program designed for adolescents who are struggling, combining schooling with guidance aimed at personal change. The program uses a structured, choice-focused model alongside therapeutic services to help address a range of concerns, including conduct problems, emotional difficulties, substance use, and issues connected to family life. In a safe and organized setting, students work with tailored plans that include counseling and academic support, encouraging healthy development and long-term progress. Eagle Ranch Academy also places strong emphasis on involving families, using regular communication to support recovery and improve relationships.
The approach is based on the Core Value Behavioral Change Model. Through individual, family, and group therapy, teens learn and practice core values that support healthier decision-making. The daily schedule is built around therapy and growth: each morning begins with goal-setting, followed by individual and family sessions with licensed professionals. Group therapy may include CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused treatment, along with supplemental activities such as social skills practice and creative therapies like art or music. Students also receive academic and medical check-ins, with access to on-campus psychiatric and medical care available around the clock. Later in the day, the routine includes group discussions and journaling to reinforce reflection and progress. With a comprehensive, professional support system, Eagle Ranch Academy provides a clear and organized route toward healing and improvement.
Eagle Ranch Academy works in partnership with Coral Sands Academy, a digital private school. Certified educators and special education specialists assist teens as they continue their education throughout the program. Students may also participate in learning-related outings and community service projects, with attention to academic achievement and future planning. After completing the program, each student is awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support further education or vocational training.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Utah. If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
Eagle Ranch Academy did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Utah Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
