Editorial Policy

Everything on SocialHost is written to help people make an informed first call, not to sell a program.

• Sources first. Facility details come from public federal data (SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov locator) and information facilities publish about themselves. Health statements follow SAMHSA, NIDA, NIAAA, CDC and FDA guidance.
• No paid placement. Listings are sorted by name and data completeness, never by payment.
• Plain language. We explain terms such as detox, IOP and MAT, and we say clearly when information may be out of date.
• Corrections. If a listing is wrong or a facility has closed, email editor@socialhost.org and we will fix or remove it.
• Safety. Every page shows emergency numbers (911 and 988) and the free SAMHSA National Helpline.
