About Access Foundation Sundown

Access Foundation Sundown is located near Home Depot and within walking distance of Royal Oaks Park, offering women a peaceful sober living setting with a strong structure. The program emphasizes practices grounded in evidence, including group therapy sessions, random drug screening, and chances for residents to build leadership and teamwork skills inside the home. Personal finance education is also part of the routine. Key roles on site include House Manager, Assistant Manager, House Accountant, and Chore Advisor. For the first 30 days, residents attend five weekly Recovery meetings; after that, they attend three weekly meetings. Access Foundation Sundown does not require participants to attend treatment outside the program.

Access Foundation is accredited by the Joint Commission and recognized by the Utah state government.

Access Foundation Sundown is a two-story residence with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. It also includes two kitchens, three refrigerators, three washer and dryer units, and a pantry, with a total size of 3,630 square feet. Recovery meetings and the weekly house meeting are held every Sunday at 8 p.m.

Residents are expected to secure employment within 30 days of moving in, and staff help support job search efforts. The center enforces a strict no-drugs policy: if a resident tests positive, they are asked to leave, though beds are held for 72 hours. If a resident tests negative within that 72-hour window, they can be readmitted. Smoking is allowed outdoors only, not inside the building.

During the first 30 days, curfew is set for 10 p.m.; after that, curfew becomes midnight. Monthly rent is $500, due on the first day of each month, and a $300 security deposit is required. Drug testing costs $5 per test, including tests for suspected use. If rent is paid late, Access Foundation charges $25 for payments made between the 6th and 15th, and $50 for payments made after the 15th. Payment options include Venmo and CashApp, as well as card payments with a 3.25% processing fee.

For entrepreneurs, Access Foundation provides BizLab services tailored to people planning to launch a business while in recovery. Pricing includes $90 per hour for a basic BizLab consultation, $350 for a BizLab kit, or $990 for all four kits.

The organization also offers additional women’s housing nearby at Elmwood and Serenity Station, and additional men’s housing at Saving Grace, Elmwood, Serenity Station, The Mission, and The Parkway. Like this location, these sites are near Zion National Park. The other residences follow the same general rules, with the only differences being the weekly meeting times.
