About Rehab Management Inc
Pyramid York Detox and Residential provides care for adults dealing with substance use disorders and mental health conditions that occur at the same time. Set in a setting with outdoor green space and equipped with comfortable lounges, a basketball court, and fitness areas, Pyramid aims to create a supportive atmosphere for recovery. Pyramid Healthcare also works to keep treatment within reach by accepting most private insurance plans and Medicaid.
For people who need detox from alcohol or other substances, the program includes medical supervision and withdrawal support provided by licensed nurses and doctors, helping make the transition into recovery as manageable as possible. Pyramid Healthcare additionally provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including Suboxone and Vivitrol, to help lower cravings, particularly for opioids and alcohol. When clients also have mental health needs, psychiatrists coordinate with them to evaluate, prescribe, and manage medications for co-occurring conditions.
Pyramid York delivers treatment through one-on-one therapy, using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Residents also participate in group sessions, including life skills groups that cover budgeting, job readiness, access to community resources, and nutrition. Programming includes both twelve-step-based groups and alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Refuge Recovery. Clients may choose specialty tracks focused on co-occurring needs, relapse prevention, criminal thinking, Trauma Recovery and Empowerment (TREM), and other areas. The center also incorporates yoga, art therapy, and creative writing to support a whole-person, holistic model of care.
Pyramid is located in rural areas to the east of York and serves individuals across the York and Lancaster region. For those who drive, the facility is conveniently reachable via Highway 30, and parking is available on-site.
