About CFHW Specialty Behavioral Health Servs
Clinica Family Health & Wellness was created through the merger of Clinica Family Health and Mental Health Partners, bringing together comprehensive services for physical, behavioral, and oral health for people of all ages. Care is available for older adults 65+ as well as younger adults 15–29, with programs designed to meet different life-stage needs.
Clinica’s Boulder Strong Resource Center began operating in 2021 as a response to the Tabel Mesa King Soopers shooting. Because of this, the team has particular experience supporting first responders and other community members impacted by that event.
The center offers treatment for a range of needs, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and substance use disorders. Using a community-centered model, it aims to make services easier to access and attentive to cultural differences, regardless of whether someone can pay or has documentation.
Clinica uses proven, evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, medication management, and peer support. Patients can attend individual and group counseling, receive psychiatric services, and participate in wellness-focused programs.
For urgent situations, the center also provides a 24/7 walk-in crisis service for people who need immediate help, including those experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm.
The Boulder Strong Resource Center is located near the Baseline Road & 30th Street bus stop. In-person appointments are offered Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Virtual services are available on Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
