About Teen Challenge San Diego
San Diego Teen Challenge is a faith-based, one-year program for men dealing with alcohol and drug addiction. The program emphasizes Christian principles, guiding participants through spiritual practices and personal disciplines designed to support lasting recovery. During the first three to four months, men take part in the induction phase, which allows time to adjust and prepare before moving into a higher level of involvement. In the next stage, participants deepen their spiritual learning through daily classes, chapel services, and structured group discussions. The program also includes opportunities to attend local church activities, join community events, and complete supervised work assignments.
