About Park Mental Health Treatment of
Set in bright San Diego, Park Mental Health provides primary mental health services and treatment for co-occurring substance and mental health conditions in a secure, well-organized environment. The program is designed for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and personality disorders. Care options span inpatient services, day programming (PHP), and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), helping individuals strengthen emotional stability and rebuild independence through coordinated clinical support and practical life-skills training.
Park Mental Health combines evidence-based methods with holistic approaches to develop individualized treatment plans. Clients may receive cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed interventions, along with skill development, medication oversight, and involvement from family members when appropriate. The goal of each plan is to help clients reduce symptoms, improve communication and relationships, and feel more confident in everyday life. Structured schedules, group peer support, and steady, caring coaching help guide clients throughout the process.
Participants in the supportive housing program live in shared rooms that include private bathrooms and have access to 24/7 support from qualified staff. The program offers amenities such as gym access and weekend activities like hiking and go-karting, plus a breakfast routine to begin each day. Medication management and coaching in daily living skills, including budgeting, time management, and cooking, support clients in staying organized and progressing. Through connection, consistency, and a sense of community, Park creates conditions where recovery can feel attainable once again.
