About Discovery Mood and Anxiety Program
Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program Southport is an outpatient mental health program designed for teenagers ages 11 to 17. Drawing on its work since 1997, Discovery uses research-supported therapies to address a variety of mood and anxiety disorders. The center provides both a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Treatment for conditions such as depression, self-harm, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma, and reactive attachment disorder includes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based methods, delivered through individual sessions and structured group therapy.
