About CRF Mobile Adolescent Services Team

The Mobile Adolescent Services Team (MAST) provides support to children and teens ages 5 through 18, and in some cases up to 21 when clinically necessary, who have been identified with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and are involved with juvenile court or attending community schools. MAST delivers a broad set of services, covering behavioral health and psychiatric assessments, medication management, individual, family, and group counseling, case management, parenting assistance, prevention and treatment of substance use, and crisis response.

MAST improves access to behavioral health care by bringing services directly to schools and juvenile court, reaching young people who may otherwise go without treatment. The team uses a family-centered model, working closely with caregivers and involving all key family members in planning and providing care. This approach highlights the role of parents and other important people in the child’s life, helping create a stable environment that supports recovery and healthy development. As part of the Community Research Foundation, MAST is committed to ensuring services are available regardless of financial limitations, including for individuals who cannot pay, Medi-Cal beneficiaries, those eligible for Medi-Cal, and those without insurance.
