About Apex Recovery

Located a short distance from the Pacific Ocean, Apex Recovery is a high-end boutique rehabilitation center providing both residential treatment and outpatient care. Apex Recovery focuses on recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, as well as co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, LGBT-related concerns, and grief. The process starts with medically supervised detox, where clients are monitored closely and supported through withdrawal. After stabilization, the treatment plan shifts toward uncovering the personal causes and triggers that contribute to substance use.

Care is delivered through a blend of evidence-based clinical approaches and complementary holistic practices, aiming to support the full person—mind, body, and spirit. Residents and outpatient participants may take part in one-on-one counseling and group therapy, along with motivational interviewing (MI) and Seeking Safety. The program also includes holistic options such as animal-assisted therapy, yoga, sound therapy, and meditation. While the program is not built on the 12-Step model, clients are welcome to attend AA/NA if it aligns with their goals.

For those in the residential program, there are two gender-specific housing setups, designed to be modern and roomy. The luxury residences offer private and semi-private rooms, accommodating up to eight people. Select rooms include walkout balconies with views of the surrounding mountains near San Diego, California. Guests can also enjoy a range of amenities, including a pool, hot tub, and inviting common areas with comfortable seating and a large-screen TV. Meals are prepared by onsite chefs, and a gym membership is included for residential participants. Throughout the residential stage, clients may join sober group outings such as going to the movies, shopping, or visiting the nearby beach.
