About Monterey County Behavioral Health
Monterey County Behavioral Health Adult provides outpatient services for adults dealing with serious mental health conditions or substance use issues. Using its Adult System of Care (ASOC), the center offers support to Medi-Cal eligible adults and other underserved community members throughout the county. Individuals can receive care in person, via telehealth, or through group programs, allowing for more flexible help when it’s needed.
Clients have access to a comprehensive set of services, beginning with detailed evaluations and individualized treatment plans. The program includes therapy, case management, medication services, crisis counseling, and mental health rehabilitation. In addition, staff help participants connect with peer support, educational resources, employment programs, and residential recovery options, supporting long-term progress toward stability and independence.
