About Interim

Interim Inc. is a nonprofit organization offering full-spectrum services for adults facing significant mental health difficulties. It operates Manzanita House, a short-term crisis residential program that delivers community-based support, and Choices, a day treatment program located at the OMNI Resource Center. Choices is focused on helping people regulate mental health symptoms and reduce the risk of future hospitalizations. Together, these services assist individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and related challenges, providing timely support when it is most needed.

The center uses proven treatment methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing, along with peer support to strengthen self-confidence and personal agency. This combination helps address both emotional well-being and mental health needs, including support for individuals managing mental illness, substance use, and trauma, with the goal of encouraging durable recovery.

Interim also offers a welcoming, home-like setting with shared bedrooms, a recreation room, and access to garden spaces. Residents receive healthy meals and snacks, as well as transportation as needed. Costs are handled through a sliding fee scale based on each resident’s income. With a caring environment and structured assistance, participants can rebuild independence, work toward long-term stability, and continue growing personally.
