About Yancey Outreach International Inc
Yancey Recovery Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people dealing with addiction, mental health concerns, homelessness, domestic violence, and other serious obstacles. The center’s goal is to foster healing and renewed hope by providing compassionate and culturally aware care. It offers both outpatient and intensive outpatient services, serving individuals who are prepared to start their recovery journey.
A variety of treatment options are available, including individual counseling, group therapy, and anger management. The programs use established approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Moral Recognition Therapy. For those who wish to incorporate faith into the healing process, Yancey Recovery Services also provides Christian-based recovery. Through these services, clients develop practical life skills, learn healthier ways to manage stress, and work to maintain progress in recovery.
The center is designed to be a safe, supportive environment where adults and youth can move forward, grow, and heal. People come through different pathways, including court referrals, professional recommendations, or self-enrollment, and they receive individualized attention. In addition to therapy, the center can assist with resources such as job support and connections to food and healthcare, helping clients rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
