About AKUA Mind Body - Mental Health Facility Fair Oaks
AKUA Mind and Body provides a distinctive recovery approach that combines conventional methods with practices from Eastern medicine. The center delivers detox services, residential care, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). While receiving treatment here, clients work on mental health concerns that occur alongside addiction or other related challenges. Throughout the program, participants take part in both individual counseling and group therapy, along with life coaching. Treatment may feature mindfulness and meditation, yoga, harp music therapy, reiki, and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), among other evidence-based options.
Aftercare is a core part of the AKUA model, and the center offers an aftercare alumni program to support long-term progress. Clients can expect regular follow-up that may include weekly alumni gatherings, community and social events, and use of an alumni app. The residential facility on Fair Oaks Blvd also provides transportation support and 24/7 assistance. On-site amenities include laundry and a gym, while a chef prepares nutritious meals each day to reinforce holistic healing.
