About Present Moments Recovery
Present Moments Recovery’s Carlsbad residential and extended care program helps men and women build lasting sobriety, regain emotional balance, and strengthen the skills needed for independent living. Set in a calm, supportive atmosphere that many describe as “like home,” experienced clinical professionals guide a comprehensive and individualized drug recovery program. Their full continuum of care includes detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient services, and sober living.
The curriculum also covers relapse prevention, practical coping strategies, aftercare planning, medication-assisted therapy, and alumni support. Treatment is available for co-occurring challenges such as self-harm, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression. Present Moments Recovery applies multiple evidence-based therapies, including family therapy, psychoeducation, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and additional approaches tailored to each person.
