About Decision Point LLC

Decision Point is a treatment facility focused on dual diagnosis care, supporting people with substance use disorders as well as mental health conditions. The team at Decision Point recognizes that recovery looks different for each person and does not follow a universal formula. The center provides residential programming lasting 45 to 90 days, along with specialized options that may include intensive outpatient Telehealth. Specialty offerings also include a self-defense program, academic and career coaching, an adventure and recovery program, enrichment activities, life skills training, and relapse prevention.

A key element of Decision Point’s approach is adventure therapy. Clients participate in engaging, recovery-focused experiences such as rock climbing, zip lining, backpacking, canoeing, and guided wilderness expeditions. The program also highlights learning how to enjoy life while sober, including opportunities for yoga, Tai Chi, and daily workouts at the gym.

Decision Point respects the principles of AA, while also providing non-12-Step pathways for individuals who want an alternative approach. Treatment plans may include a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapies, breathwork and meditation, eye movement therapy (EMDR), relaxation techniques, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Located just north of Prescott, Arizona, Decision Point sits where the high desert transitions into mountain forests. The region is known for its mild weather and access to many outdoor activities. Residential accommodations are separate from the clinical setting. Clients live in shared, gender-specific two-bedroom apartments designed to feel comfortable and supportive. Meals are prepared by clients with help from a nutritionist. Decision Point is accredited by the Joint Commission and works with most private insurance plans.
