AnchorPoint supports men in freeing themselves from addiction, trauma, PTSD, and the intense emotional distress that often lies beneath substance use. The center provides comprehensive support, beginning with residential treatment and extending through outpatient programming at its sister location, Holdfast. The focus goes beyond simply achieving sobriety; men are guided toward lasting freedom and toward living out God’s purpose.
Care at AnchorPoint is individual, faith-centered, and designed to help men create genuine, sustainable change. Using the NeuroFaith approach, the team blends insights from brain science, trauma research, and Biblical truth to uncover the causes driving harmful patterns. Men receive help processing emotional wounds, easing stress responses, and repairing relationships that addiction may have damaged. Throughout the program, clients also build stronger communication skills, learn healthier ways to manage difficult feelings, and practice mindfulness.
The environment at AnchorPoint is warm and welcoming, created to strengthen brotherhood. Comfortable bedrooms, shared gathering spaces, and opportunities for outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, and fitness help men reconnect with themselves and others in a secure setting.
When residential care concludes, roughly 90% of clients continue their recovery through Holdfast. Outpatient treatment there usually lasts about 90 days, but the staff stays involved for as long as a man needs support. After outpatient ends, they assist with locating sponsors, integrating clients into sober living options, and connecting them with reputable medical professionals.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Arizona (this facility reports accreditation). If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
AnchorPoint did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Arizona Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
