About MadCity Psychology

Located close to the professional area around West Towne Mall in Madison, Wisconsin, this therapy center provides outpatient services for people dealing with anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), identity-related stress commonly experienced by LGBTQ+ clients, and neurodiversity. The center also offers specialized eating disorder support through its Eating Disorder Support Network, assisting clients in developing a more positive, healthy connection with food and their bodies.

MadCity Psychology combines evidence-based approaches with holistic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Together, these approaches help individuals make meaningful behavior changes, improve emotional regulation, and support decisions guided by personal values. Nutrition counseling, recovery coaching, and family education are incorporated as well, addressing both physical needs and emotional well-being during recovery.

Clients may also join group programs such as Lunch Bunch, a supportive setting for shared meals and community-building with others who are in recovery. Beneath the Surface offers teletherapy for individuals with visible or invisible disabilities, including chronic pain. Beyond the Mirror is a recovery circle created for adults age 40 and older, providing age-aware support and space for reflection.
