About Cornucopia

Cornucopia Arts & Wellness Center is a peer-led organization that helps people move forward in mental health and substance use recovery. The center’s goal is to strengthen self-reliance, personal development, and respect by centering recovery on participant choice and mutual peer guidance. At Cornucopia, individuals can join arts-focused activities such as drawing, painting, and creative art studio sessions, along with wellness supports like breathing practices, mindfulness-based tools, and workshops that build communication skills.

A key difference at Cornucopia is the way it uses creative arts as part of the healing process. The program offers a welcoming, supportive environment where participants can safely explore their artistic abilities while continuing their recovery. Through a community built around artistic expression and peer connection, Cornucopia helps people work toward increased independence and dignity.
