About Associated Physicians

Located on the west side of Madison, Associated Physicians is a clinic owned by physicians, providing the community with a wide range of services including mental health, substance use treatment, OB/GYN, pediatrics, physical therapy, podiatry, family medicine, and other healthcare needs. The mission of Associated Physicians is to focus on a strong doctor-client relationship and avoid turning care into an administrative process.

The behavioral health team includes a licensed clinical social worker and a physician who deliver psychotherapy, psychiatric services, and help clients set and work toward personal goals. They coordinate with other departments within the clinic and with the nearby UnityPoint Health hospital system to support clients with an integrated approach to their care.

Associated Physicians uses UnityPoint’s Epic system to document and follow clients’ care during treatment and afterward. Clients can view their care information through Epic’s MyChart, either through the MyChart mobile app or by logging in online. Note: UnityPoint may sometimes refer to MyChart as MyUnityPoint.

Associated Physicians is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. For emergencies occurring after regular hours, a triage nurse can help connect patients to appropriate care. The clinic’s hours may be shorter on holidays.

To support a smooth check-in, Associated Physicians asks clients to arrive 15 minutes early. They also charge a $25 cash fee for missed appointments and for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled visit.

Paying for treatment at Associated Physicians

Associated Physicians did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Wisconsin Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does.
