About Holman Recovery Center
Holman Recovery Center (HRC) provides residential care for adults who are looking to recover from substance use. Using evidence-based methods alongside a whole-person approach, the center helps individuals build skills that support sustained recovery. HRC is a 36-bed program, and in many cases openings are available within 7 days after an inquiry. Applicants must complete a drug and alcohol assessment dated within the last 30 days in order to be considered for treatment at HRC.
Services at HRC include individual and group therapy, peer support, community involvement, nutritional programming, and medically-assisted treatment when it is clinically needed. The holistic component features yoga, meditation, and relaxation training, as well as fitness activities and horticulture groups. HRC also offers a family program, including a supportive educational weekend designed to help families participate in the healing process. Family Day takes place every Saturday from 11:15 AM to 2 PM, and clients are allowed two Family Day visits during their stay at HRC.
Planning for aftercare begins right away and is tailored as clients’ needs change. Throughout treatment, staff help arrange sober housing and coordinate outpatient services to strengthen recovery following the program. Staff and peer counselors also support clients in finding and connecting with recovery resources in the community.
