About Alpine Recovery Services

Alpine Recovery Services is a licensed treatment center for chemical dependency that has been delivering effective, individualized addiction care since 1992. At the start, each client completes a thorough intake evaluation with qualified and caring specialists, who help identify the most appropriate treatment plan. After reviewing the assessment, clients may move forward into one of the center’s outpatient options, or receive recommendations for other forms of care that align better with their specific needs.

The team at Alpine Recovery Services focuses on helping clients rebuild their lives through recovery, using treatment plans designed around each person’s circumstances. Their outpatient services differ in level of support, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP), which is the most intensive option. PHP is designed for individuals dealing with moderate to severe substance misuse who do not require 24-hour supervision. Typically, the program involves at least 20 hours of treatment each week, usually spread across 4 to 5 days based on individual requirements.

For those who need structured outpatient programming over a longer period, the intensive outpatient program (IOP) runs for 9 to 12 weeks. It emphasizes addiction education and practical life skills, delivered in a group therapy format that addresses areas such as recovery-focused parenting, assertiveness, denial and acceptance, and maintaining sobriety. Clients in the IOP also participate in a weekly family session on Wednesdays. In addition to group and family therapy, individual counseling is provided as part of the overall treatment approach.

Alpine also offers long-term, ongoing assistance for clients as they transition back to a sober lifestyle. A 26-week relapse awareness program helps participants reflect on patterns of behavior and build healthier coping strategies. This program, guided by experienced addiction counselors, combines instruction, workbook-based activities, process groups, and opportunities to apply skills in real-life situations. It is especially beneficial for people who have recently relapsed or who may currently feel at risk.

For additional structure, Alpine offers Positive Choices, a 6-12 month program that provides guidance and supports clients in making informed decisions and setting the groundwork for positive lifestyle changes. After completing an outpatient program, clients can continue with a 26-week aftercare program that draws on 12 Step principles and offers practical help for managing five key areas of life in recovery: stress, nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and financial planning.

The center also maintains a strong family component, with nine weekly sessions scheduled in a flexible manner. These sessions support family members and loved ones by covering topics such as addiction education, family relationships and dynamics, codependency, communication, assertiveness, enabling behaviors, and more.
