LifeStance Health operates multiple sites and brings together a national network of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners to support people facing mental health and substance use challenges. Care is available through both in-person sessions and virtual private therapy. The Central Texas location delivers services for conditions such as mental illness, process addictions, grief, and major life changes, including postpartum depression and related concerns.
LifeStance works with highly rated clinicians who specialize in a wide range of concerns and create individualized treatment approaches for clients across the lifespan. Services address issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The center also treats substance addictions involving drugs or alcohol, along with process addictions such as eating disorders and hoarding, and it offers support for adolescents who struggle with school avoidance. Depending on needs, gender-focused and specialized programs are available, including care for men’s or women’s issues, psychosis, postpartum depression or anxiety, couples concerns, grief, insomnia, and childhood behavioral difficulties.
At LifeStance, personalized care is guided by a multidisciplinary team that includes board-certified professionals and social workers, working collaboratively to develop and oversee treatment plans. Plans may incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, and solution-focused therapy. Additional evidence-based approaches like narrative therapy and play therapy may also be offered, particularly for children and adolescents.
Depending on treatment goals, clients and their families may access adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry or therapy, and options such as group therapy or family therapy. The center also supports new parents dealing with adjustment, mental health concerns, or sleep-related difficulties. Beyond counseling, LifeStance provides neuropsychological testing, as well as psychological assessments and evaluations.
Full mental health services are available five days a week, Monday through Friday, with both virtual and in-person appointments. LifeStance Health accepts most major insurance plans.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Texas. If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
LifeStance Health Temple did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Texas Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
