About The Ranch at Dove Tree

The Ranch at Dove Tree works with people facing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Its main treatment approach focuses on strengthening self-identity, skill-building, connection, emotional stability, and physical safety to support lasting recovery. The center provides medically guided detox, 30- and 60-day residential programs, day treatment (partial hospitalization), intensive outpatient services, transitional living, and ongoing aftercare. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated at each stage of care to create a well-rounded recovery experience.

The Ranch at Dove Tree specifically supports clients dealing with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, trauma and PTSD, borderline personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and self-harm behaviors. A psychiatrist on staff evaluates symptoms and, when needed, coordinates appropriate medications. For eligible participants, the center also offers a dedicated veterans and first responders program called Tactical Recovery. This program delivers trauma-informed, culturally responsive treatment and includes twice-weekly EMDR groups tailored to the needs of these populations.

A variety of evidence-based services are available, including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, equine-assisted therapy on site, and family therapy. The program also incorporates 12-Step principles to support recovery. The center aims to heal the whole person by addressing mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. During residential treatment, clients attend twice-weekly individual therapy, participate in at least six hours of group programming each day, and follow a daily wellness routine with 12-Step integration. In the 30-day program, clients work through the first five steps, while the 60-day program covers steps six through nine.

The Ranch at Dove Tree also emphasizes family involvement through intensive family programming. A monthly family weekend includes family therapy, multi-family groups, addiction education, and additional supports. Alongside residential care, the center offers day treatment, intensive outpatient, and gender-specific transitional living. Day treatment runs 20 hours per week from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, with an additional evening group on Wednesdays. Intensive outpatient provides at least 15 weekly hours and includes evening options. Both day treatment and IOP may be completed virtually. Transitional living includes 24/7 therapeutic structure, random drug screenings, continued individual and group therapy, with IOP participation during the transitional period, and weekly group outings.

Set on a 15-acre campus, The Ranch at Dove Tree offers shared accommodations, a fitness center, volleyball and basketball courts, a chapel, and an outdoor adventure program. Clients also have access to yoga, nutritional counseling, and healthy meals and snacks throughout their stay.
