Aspire Recovery’s outpatient program is widely regarded as a top option for outpatient substance abuse care. It has been in operation for more than a decade and was the first accredited substance abuse program in Lubbock, Texas. The program supports adult men and women who are dealing with substance use disorders, process addictions, trauma, and mental health conditions that occur alongside addiction. Drawing on a 12-Step foundation, Aspire combines proven clinical approaches with holistic support.
Participants work from personalized treatment plans designed around their individual circumstances. The program runs for 8 to 10 weeks, with sessions held three evenings per week, typically from 6pm to 9pm. During this time, clients build practical strategies and tools to help them sustain recovery. Programming includes educational groups, process-based groups, chemical dependency groups, and other group formats.
In addition to group sessions, clients can access individual counseling, couples therapy, family counseling, life skills training, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). For men who need stable housing, Aspire Recovery also offers a sober living program to provide a safe environment while they continue outpatient treatment. Alongside therapy, the center organizes recreational outings throughout each month, such as hiking in West Texas canyons, go-karting, paintball, and movie trips.
The outpatient setting at Aspire Recovery is welcoming and comfortable, with an atmosphere that feels more like a home than a hospital, including dinner on Monday nights. Aspire Recovery accepts most insurance plans and also provides fair self-pay options.
