About Origins Recovery and Counseling Dallas

Origins Recovery and Counseling Dallas provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that helps people who are working through substance use disorders along with related mental health challenges. This level of care is often a good fit for individuals with mild to moderate substance use needs who also have a stable place to live and reliable support from family or friends. The center offers scheduling flexibility with sessions available in the morning, afternoon, or evening, making it easier for participants to continue work, school, or other daily responsibilities while receiving treatment. Origins Texas works with many major private insurance plans.

At Origins Texas, the program uses research-backed methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Treatment includes both one-on-one and group counseling focused on building practical coping strategies, reducing cravings, lowering the risk of relapse, and working through mental health factors that may contribute to substance use. For additional support, clients may take part in family therapy to help strengthen relationships impacted by addiction, as well as medication management when there are co-occurring mental health conditions. The center also provides aftercare, such as peer support groups, follow-up individual therapy, and alumni events to support continued recovery.
