About Tree House Recovery
Run by veterans, Tree House Recovery in Nashville, Tennessee supports men and women facing alcohol and drug addiction. Their holistic approach is based on a mind-body program originally developed by Founder Justin McMillen. The center’s purpose is to “take the struggle of getting sober and use it to bond people together. In that struggle, there emerges a camaraderie made of trust, vulnerability, success, and support that feels like home.”
Tree House Recovery highlights both physical fitness and an adventurous mindset, so their schedule includes a wide range of activities. Clients participate in action-based induction (ABI) therapy, featuring team drills shaped by Navy SEAL training. The program also includes ESM fitness designed specifically for recovery by Ryan Bain, along with Recovery in Action, a monthly series of events such as Spartan Races and Tough Mudders that help clients reconnect with the outside world. A dedicated physical empowerment team guides and oversees these activities.
Tree House Recovery’s Tennessee location serves men and women and has experience working with young adults, veterans, professionals, and musicians. Many members of the staff are also in long-term recovery, enabling them to better understand and support clients through their own recovery paths.
