About Integrative Life Center
Integrative Life Center (ILC) offers men aged 18 and older a structured treatment program focused on intimacy-related issues, attachment problems, love addiction, pornography addiction, relationship difficulties, and sexual behaviors that are problematic or compulsive. The program takes place at a log-cabin style residence in the Nashville area, lasts 28 days, and accommodates up to 8 men. This private, highly focused setting includes 35 hours of group therapy each week, along with two 1:1 sessions weekly with licensed therapists holding master’s degrees.
Throughout the program, participants receive both catered meals and meals prepared in-house. Alongside ongoing clinical support, men are also expected to meet regularly with the medical team for medication monitoring and psychiatric services. Because many individuals struggling with sex addiction also experience other mental health concerns, the clinical and medical staff coordinate to treat conditions such as depression, antisocial personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorder. Therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodrama, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. Men are guided to examine past trauma, evaluate their life patterns, and reconsider the relationships and partners they are currently involved with.
Clinicians apply the Trauma Induced Sexual Addiction model (TINSA), a neurobiological framework designed to recognize and address sexual addiction. The center also provides a virtual partner support program running concurrently with the residential treatment.
