About Phoenix Center
This medically supervised detox unit provides a secure, compassionate setting for adults starting the recovery process from alcohol or drug dependence. The center has 10 beds and provides around-the-clock support from nurses, counselors, and available physicians, helping ensure comfort and careful supervision throughout withdrawal. Admission is offered to people aged 18 and older who meet the required medical standards, so the detox process can be matched to individual needs.
Throughout detox, clients are closely monitored as they work toward stabilization of both physical condition and emotional well-being. Each day also includes small group sessions that introduce key ideas of recovery and encourage participants to take part early in their healing journey. With this structured support, many clients move from immediate crisis toward greater stability, usually within 5 to 7 days depending on the substance involved and the level of use.
When detox is completed, the program shifts to readiness for the next stage of treatment. The staff work together with each person to create a plan aligned with personal goals and continued recovery. Care is provided with professionalism, confidentiality, and a trauma-informed approach, helping create a setting where healing can begin to feel achievable and hope can take root.
