About The Providence Center Child and Family Services

The Providence Center’s Center for Child and Adolescent Services supports children and teens who experience emotional or behavioral difficulties that interfere with daily life at home or in school. The center provides counseling, structured intensive programming, and crisis support designed around the individual needs of each child. By offering individualized guidance, it helps young people and their families work toward stability, recovery, and renewed optimism.

The Providence Center collaborates with families to develop treatment plans that reflect each child’s circumstances. Care may include individual, group, and family counseling, along with programs matched to age and development, such as the Early Childhood Institute and Teen Programs. Through these services, children learn practical coping strategies, strengthen communication, and improve their ability to succeed both academically and in everyday routines.

Multisystemic Therapy assists families in addressing complicated challenges by building on their existing strengths, while initiatives like InShape connect youth with health mentors to support overall physical and emotional wellness. The center’s services are offered in the community, at school, or during urgent situations, ensuring help is reachable when and where it is most needed.
