About BHG Providence Treatment Center

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is a major outpatient provider of addiction care, working closely with referral partners to help people move forward in recovery from opioid use. Using evidence-based methods, BHG employs a multidisciplinary team that combines medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling, and coordinated support services, with each plan shaped around the person’s goals and stage of recovery.

With 114 treatment centers in 22 states, BHG operates as the largest Joint Commission-accredited outpatient network in the United States. This nationwide footprint helps ensure consistent delivery of best practices across sites, while supporting more than 43,000 patients each day. Published results indicate that 92% of patients report better quality of life and mental health, 83% see reduced substance use, and 45% obtain employment during their first year in treatment.

BHG also belongs to the small group of providers—about 4.2% nationally—that offer all three FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, along with counseling and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) at certain locations. Its whole-person model is designed to improve treatment engagement, lower opioid use, reduce high-risk behaviors, and strengthen long-term recovery outcomes.
