About Providence Center

The Providence Center provides a full range of services for adults experiencing mental health conditions, emotional difficulties, and substance use disorders. Clients can access outpatient counseling as well as structured, intensive programs based in the community, with support designed around each person’s unique path to recovery.

Using a holistic, research-informed approach, the center combines therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). These interventions help individuals manage both mental health symptoms and addiction-related challenges. The Providence Center also includes wellness initiatives that support physical health, reflecting the link between overall wellness and emotional well-being.

In addition, the Providence Center works alongside Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) to build a patient-centered medical home model. Through this collaboration, clients receive coordinated access to primary care, behavioral health, and wellness services in one connected setting, helping streamline treatment and strengthen ongoing support.
