About New Vitae Wellness and Recovery

Founded in the Quakertown area in 1983, New Vitae Wellness and Recovery provides an array of tailored outpatient and residential programs for adults, young adults, and veterans dealing with issues related to mental health, substance use, co-occurring disorders, or traumatic brain injuries. Located at 16 South Main Street, the center offers conventional outpatient services, day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, medication management, and medication-assisted therapies for opioid dependency. Additionally, some services such as medication management, individual and family counseling, and various group sessions are available through telehealth.

New Vitae's program for young adults encompasses all facets of their behavioral health requirements, which includes mental health services, job support, life skills training, social engagement opportunities, and education. During this critical transition period into adulthood, New Vitae provides essential support aimed at fostering long-term wellness.

What distinguishes the center's veterans program is its commitment to employing fellow veterans who can deliver truly individualized care to their peers. This initiative emerged from the recognition of a significant need for enhanced support for veterans facing homelessness, and it now features a broad range of services, including treatment for traumatic brain injuries, deep transcranial magnetic stimulation, GeneSight testing, and more.
