About Asociacion Puertorriquenos en Marcha

Located on East Allegheny Avenue close to Interstate 65 in Philadelphia, this nonprofit outpatient clinic supports adults and families dealing with mental health concerns. The center provides individual counseling, group sessions, and family-focused assistance for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Care is offered both face to face and via telehealth. Clinicians may use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and prolonged exposure therapy to help clients strengthen coping strategies and improve emotional regulation. Treatment includes one-on-one meetings and group therapy aimed at working through difficult feelings, practicing practical skills, and developing daily routines that promote stability. When appropriate, staff also provide medication management and can deliver services in English and Spanish with interpretation. In addition, a mobile therapy team travels to nursing homes and rehabilitation centers to reach adults who have difficulty getting to appointments. As part of a larger community organization, the clinic also helps individuals find employment and housing resources after completing therapy.
