About Center for Ind and Family Servs

The rehabilitation center, situated off Scholl Road near the Richland County Office, is a residential option designed exclusively for adult women. It supports women who are living with significant mental health challenges alongside substance use disorders. Services are available around the clock, ranging from crisis stabilization to structured residential treatment. Care staff develop individualized plans aimed at helping each client address addiction, strengthen mental health, and work toward stable long-term recovery.

The program offers treatment grounded in established clinical practices. Clients can participate in substance-related and recovery-focused groups, receive one-on-one counseling, take part in family therapy, and access intensive case management. When needed, staff coordinate referrals for psychiatric assessment, ongoing medication management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Recovery is also reinforced through peer connection, and women may choose to be involved in peer-led groups as well as AA/NA, faith-based support, or other community resources.

Women reside in supervised housing with staff present at all times. They follow structured daily routines that promote support and responsibility, including peer engagement, meal preparation, therapeutic programming, and self-care. Staff oversee medications and help clients rebuild practical independent living skills. If a client is pregnant, the team supports planning for prenatal and postpartum care. At the time of discharge, they arrange outpatient services, assist with job training opportunities, and provide housing referrals to help sustain each woman’s progress.
