About Hitchcock Center for Women Inc

Hitchcock Center for Women provides a comprehensive range of services, delivering research-supported treatment within a secure and nurturing atmosphere. At the time of admission, each woman is given a customized treatment strategy aimed at managing symptoms related to substance use disorders and cultivating skills for enduring recovery. The residential program encompasses both personal and group counseling sessions.

Recognizing the vital role of family in the recovery process, the center allows mothers to have their children under the age of 12 stay with them in designated Recovery Housing suites. Children benefit from vital services, such as help with school transportation, while mothers have access to around-the-clock support teams trained in naloxone use and crisis management. Additionally, they offer specialized programs tailored for expectant mothers, combining addiction care with prenatal services to ensure the health of both mother and baby. By creating a compassionate environment where mothers can focus on recovery alongside their children, the center promotes overall family stability and wellness.

To facilitate a successful shift from treatment to independent sober living, Hitchcock Center offers Recovery Housing for women and their children after they finish the Residential Program. This transitional initiative includes ongoing support, 24/7 crisis assistance, and structured services aimed at helping women sustain sobriety and achieve self-reliance. With a focus on evidence-based practices, integrated support, and fostering long-term stability, Hitchcock Center empowers women to create healthier and more promising futures for themselves and their families.
