About Fellowship Hall Inc

Founded in 1971, Fellowship Hall is a private, nonprofit rehabilitation facility with a large campus that can accommodate as many as 99 residents. As a respected and established organization, Fellowship Hall is accredited by The Joint Commission and is affiliated with NAATP and NAADAC. The center offers evidence-based care rooted in the 12-Step model, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when it’s appropriate. Fellowship Hall treats a range of substance use disorders and mental health challenges, including clients with co-occurring conditions.

Fellowship Hall delivers both inpatient and outpatient services using a comprehensive, whole-person approach that addresses emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Care may include therapeutic assessment, development of individualized treatment plans, individual and group counseling, a grief support group, psychoeducational presentations, recovery skills training, and biofeedback. Clients may also participate in sessions with therapy dogs Fitz and Dafford, along with other supportive services. All group therapy is guided by licensed clinicians with master’s degrees. For those who prefer to remain at home, Fellowship Hall offers an intensive outpatient program, typically consisting of weekly group meetings, one-on-one sessions, and weekly checks related to substance use.

Family members and loved ones are also supported at Fellowship Hall. The center provides a four-day family program along with ongoing family support designed to help educate participants about addiction, mental health, and effective ways to assist their loved one throughout recovery. Residents stay in modern, comfortable housing units. Detox services help prepare each client for the next phase of treatment, using medication-assisted care as needed. Regular phone contact and family involvement help maintain connections while individuals receive treatment.

Fellowship Hall includes specialized programs to meet varied needs, such as gender-responsive programming, a licensed professionals program, extended care, and transitional housing. The staff contribute to the welcoming, community-like atmosphere, with many team members in long-term recovery themselves. Located on 120 acres in Greensboro, Fellowship Hall also offers holistic activities, including yoga. Following a day of treatment, clients can spend time on the campus’ peaceful meditative path, with opportunities to reflect on the 12 Steps.
