About College Recovery LLC
SOBA New Jersey Detox delivers detox treatment for alcohol and drug use and is a member of the SOBA Recovery network. SOBA New Jersey provides a complete range of care, covering detox, inpatient residential services, outpatient treatment, sober living options, and a dedicated young adults’ program. The center features an 8-bed residential detox unit with around-the-clock supervision, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), gourmet dining, and high-end comforts.
SOBA New Jersey began operations in 2014, aiming to offer a standard of care that goes beyond typical hospital-style rehabilitation clinics. SOBA New Jersey Detox is staffed by an experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical team that includes mental health professionals, trained case managers, and nurses focused on client comfort and long-term success. During detox, clinical and nursing staff track progress and manage withdrawal symptoms through prescribed medications when appropriate. Clients receive support delivered with empathy, skill, and a commitment to sustainable recovery.
At SOBA New Jersey Detox, each person’s detox plan is tailored to their specific needs. A first evaluation is used to determine the detox approach and identify medications that may ease withdrawal symptoms. The process includes checking vital signs, monitoring blood pressure and signs of dehydration, and completing urine toxicology testing. Throughout detox, clients are closely observed to maintain safety and promote comfort.
During their stay, clients are provided with comfortable private rooms with modern design elements and luxury amenities. Gourmet meals are prepared to support both physical recovery and overall well-being during detox. The facility offers high-speed WiFi, cable television, transportation options, and housekeeping services. Policies are designed to help clients stay connected with family and friends. SOBA New Jersey Detox also arranges complimentary pick-up for individuals who live within 5 hours of the New Brunswick, NJ location. When detox is complete, clients can transition smoothly to SOBA New Jersey’s inpatient program and/or its outpatient services.
