About Oxford Outpatient Treatment Center Oxford

Housed in a spacious 12,000-square-foot setting, Oxford Treatment Resolutions offers outpatient services for substance use disorders and related mental health conditions. The center provides several levels of care, including day treatment (partial hospitalization), intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient programming. Nearby sober living options give clients in outpatient treatment a stable, supportive place to live. Oxford Treatment Resolutions is located approximately 16 miles from its residential treatment campus and employs licensed clinicians, psychiatrists, and counselors.

Clients may choose a specific program level or transition smoothly between levels as their needs change. The center’s highest-intensity outpatient option, day treatment, typically lasts 1 to 2 weeks and runs 5 days per week. Sessions generally take place about 6 hours each day, with participation in research-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and the 12-Step approach. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) usually includes around three treatment days per week, with sessions lasting about three hours daily, along with two individual therapy appointments each week. General outpatient care consists of multiple hours of treatment weekly, with the schedule adjusted based on each client’s goals and requirements.

At Oxford Treatment Resolutions, each person develops a personalized recovery plan. Plans may include individual, group, and family therapy depending on what the client prefers and needs. The program also includes art and music therapy, along with quiet spaces designed for counseling and medical services. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available when clinically indicated. Psychoeducation is offered to help clients and their families better understand addiction and the recovery process. Nutrition and diet-related education covers topics such as healthy eating, diet management, and cooking skills. Clients may also take part in outdoor recreation such as sand volleyball, pickleball, tennis, and basketball.

For those starting recovery, Oxford Treatment Resolutions provides adjacent sober living residences that promote safety and structure. Residents can easily reach the therapy buildings by walking, which helps reduce barriers to consistent care. The center also holds regular peer recovery meetings on-site for clients living in sober living and for outpatient participants. Support continues through an alumni network, an alumni application, and scheduled support gatherings, with alumni connections held monthly and quarterly to encourage ongoing recovery and community.
