About Flint Odyssey House Inc

Established in 1972, Flint Odyssey House is a private nonprofit organization that runs a community involvement center and recovery residences for men, women, couples, and families, including pregnant women and parents working through substance use recovery. Guided by a strong commitment to community, the center serves people from all backgrounds, offering a secure and encouraging environment where recovery can last. The program provides stable, supportive housing to help residents transition into life after addiction. Based on self-help and shared encouragement, participants support one another while working toward long-term sobriety. Residents can stay for up to 12 months and also access programs through the Community Involvement Center, helping each person take meaningful steps toward a more secure future. Flint Odyssey House also delivers Enhanced Women’s Specialty Coaching to support mothers in lowering substance use, strengthening connections to community resources, and making informed decisions related to reproductive health. For fathers, the 24/7 Dads Fatherhood Program helps build parenting skills and support emotional well-being. Together, these initiatives provide parents with practical guidance to restore healthy relationships and support a healthier future for their families.
