About Flint Odyssey House Adolescent Outpatient

Flint Odyssey House Adolescent Outpatient is a private nonprofit program that helps teenagers in Genesee County address substance use through intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). Built on the therapeutic community approach, the services provide a structured setting with clear moral and ethical expectations, encouraging clients to take responsibility while benefiting from strong peer support. The center welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and serves teens not only in Flint but also in Port Huron and Saginaw, increasing access to recovery care throughout Michigan.

The program is designed for adolescents ages 13 to 17 who are looking for support during recovery. Services include outpatient treatment, one-on-one counseling, case management, peer recovery support, and resources for families. Care planning is based on respect and tailored to each person’s needs. Financial barriers are not a reason for refusal—Flint Odyssey House uses a sliding fee scale determined by income and household size to help ensure that effective care remains within reach.
