About StoneCrest Center

StoneCrest Center provides inpatient care for teens, adults, and seniors who are dealing with mental health conditions, dual diagnoses, developmental disabilities, and cognitive challenges. The program is based in a structured hospital setting, where each person receives tailored support from a multidisciplinary team using a behavior-centered method. With a caring staff available throughout treatment, clients are guided from admission through recovery, discharge planning, and active family participation to help strengthen long-term emotional and behavioral health.

At StoneCrest, services follow an evidence-based behavioral framework aimed at preparing individuals to reintegrate successfully into the community. Clients work with board-certified behavior analysts to pinpoint key difficulties, practice coping skills, and develop everyday functional abilities. Care is individualized and may include group, family, expressive, and recreational therapies, helping clients improve communication, relationships, and daily living skills as they move toward lasting wellness.

Situated on Detroit’s northeast side, StoneCrest offers a supportive therapeutic environment. Individuals reside in shared rooms and have access to common areas, including a courtyard with picnic tables and a basketball court. Family and friends are encouraged to visit, providing connection and encouragement while clients heal within a secure, hospital-based setting.

After completing the inpatient program at StoneCrest, clients meet with a social worker to support discharge planning. The social worker helps arrange suitable aftercare services, coordinates housing or placement when needed, and organizes follow-up appointments with relevant community resources.
