About BHG Pikeville Treatment Center
Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is a major provider of outpatient care for addiction, working with referral partners to help people recover from opioid use. The program is based on proven, research-driven methods, and BHG’s multidisciplinary team combines medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling, and wraparound supports. These services are customized to align with each patient’s personal recovery objectives and plan.
With 114 treatment centers in 22 states, BHG operates as the largest Joint Commission-accredited outpatient network in the United States. This broad footprint helps ensure that high-quality standards are applied across sites, and it supports more than 43,000 patients each day. Program results indicate that 92% of patients report improved quality of life and mental health, 83% see a reduction in substance use, and 45% obtain employment during their first year in treatment.
BHG is also part of a small portion of providers nationwide (4.2%) that deliver all three FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, along with counseling and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) at select locations. Its whole-person model is designed to strengthen treatment engagement, lower opioid use, reduce risky behaviors, and encourage sustainable long-term recovery.
