About New Vista
New Vista’s Medication-Assisted Recovery (MAR) program is designed to help people overcome opioid, heroin, alcohol, and other substance addictions. As one of Kentucky’s longest-established programs, it combines treatment from both medical and mental health professionals. The program has recently broadened to include MAR services for alcohol use, offering comprehensive care for adults.
The program uses FDA-approved medications alongside evidence-based supports such as individual and group counseling, psychiatry, and primary care. This coordinated model looks at addiction from both biological and behavioral perspectives. As a result, patients receive a full, structured plan focused on safety, wellbeing, and sustained recovery.
