About New Vista

New Vista’s residential rehabilitation at The Schwartz Center is designed for adults dealing with opioid addiction, including people currently taking or beginning medication, as well as those with additional mental health conditions. The short-term 28-day program creates a supportive, respectful setting and provides private, low-distraction areas for men and women, helping participants follow a defined route toward recovery.

Care is tailored to each person’s specific needs, using a structured daily routine that combines group counseling, one-on-one sessions, family therapy, and educational components. Residents gain the tools to strengthen their recovery, better understand addiction, and practice coping strategies and everyday life skills that support long-term sobriety.

At The Schwartz Center, the residential program includes separate accommodations, with 12 spaces for men and 12 for women. The program also arranges transportation for important obligations such as court or medical appointments. Following the residential phase, New Vista continues with intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and outpatient counseling, offering relapse prevention, skill development, coping methods, and case management to improve the likelihood of sustained progress.
