About LifeStance Health Lexington Providence Parkway

LifeStance Health operates across multiple sites and brings together a national group of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners. The center delivers care for a broad range of mental health and substance use concerns through both face-to-face and secure virtual sessions. Services include support for mental illness, behavioral and process addictions, grief and major life changes, postpartum depression, and more. LifeStance is also particularly well prepared to provide transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an option commonly used when depression does not improve with other treatments or medications.

The center works with highly regarded clinicians who specialize in many psychological conditions and create individualized plans for clients of different ages. Treatment covers disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. They also address addictions involving alcohol or drugs, along with process addictions such as eating disorders and hoarding. Care is available for adolescents who struggle with school avoidance, and specialty or gender-focused support may be offered, including treatment for men’s or women’s concerns, pain management, somatoform disorders, psychosis, postpartum depression or anxiety, relationship and couples issues, grief, insomnia, and behavioral difficulties in childhood.

At LifeStance, treatment is guided by a multidisciplinary, collaborative group of board-certified professionals and social workers. Care plans can incorporate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, solution-focused therapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Depending on the individual, other research-supported methods, including narrative therapy and play therapy, may be used for children and adolescents.

Depending on needs, patients and families may access adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry or therapy, group therapy, or family therapy. LifeStance also provides support for new parents who are adjusting to major life changes and may be experiencing mental health or sleep-related difficulties. In addition to counseling and psychiatric services, the center offers neuropsychological testing, along with psychological testing and assessments. Full mental health services are available five days a week, Monday through Friday, with options for both virtual and in-person care, and most major insurance plans are accepted.
