About Addiction Recovery Centers (ARC)
The Ashland Counseling Center, which is part of Addiction Recovery Care, provides outpatient treatment that may include individual and group counseling, 12-Step and Celebrate Recovery gatherings, peer support, structured case management, and medically assisted treatment (MAT). Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is scheduled flexibly and is meant for people who typically do not require detox that is under medical supervision.
In a typical IOP day, clients receive a combination of one-on-one sessions and group sessions planned around their specific needs. The curriculum uses evidence-based therapies, along with faith-based support options such as Celebrate Recovery. The center also includes vocational training to help participants build work-related skills. Peer support and focused case management are woven into the daily routine. Sessions are available either 3 or 5 days per week, with program hours offered in the morning, afternoon, or evening to fit different schedules.
Key highlights include same-day appointment availability, vocational training, and assistance connecting clients with practical career options. The goal is to support a smoother return to everyday life through clearly defined objectives. The vocational component is designed to strengthen employability by teaching job-ready skills suited to each person’s interests and the needs of the local labor market. Participants may work on resume preparation and interview coaching, develop computer abilities, or learn hands-on trades and service skills such as carpentry, culinary training, or customer service.
The center’s faith-informed approach includes spiritual care, chaplain involvement, and faith-based recovery meetings including AA and Celebrate Recovery. This model encourages clients to draw on a higher power and aligns with Christian principles. ARC also focuses on a whole-person approach, treating spiritual wellness as an important part of physical and emotional health, and offering recovery support that is both comprehensive and compassionate.
