About Stella Mental Health Chicago

Stella Center Chicago is the leading location of Stella Center, delivering advanced biological approaches aimed at reducing the severity of anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The center’s main services include dual sympathetic reset (DSR)/stellate ganglion block (SGB) as well as ketamine therapy. Alongside these biological treatments, Stella Center Chicago also provides optional counseling that follows trauma-informed principles to help clients strengthen their recovery plan. Before starting care, the staff evaluates each person’s symptoms and medical history to confirm whether they are likely to benefit from Stella’s programs.

With DSR, a medical injection is administered near a group of nerves responsible for involuntary processes, including heart rate and blood pressure. This intervention is designed to help calm the body’s fight-or-flight reaction and guide the nervous system back toward a more balanced baseline. SGB is FDA-approved for pain relief, and it is commonly used off-label to address mental health concerns, with supporting evidence from ongoing medical research. Stella Center Chicago also offers in-house financing options and can accept payments through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
